His Eminence Sheikh Al-Aql Sheikh Naeem Hasan received Bishop Al-Ammar and personalities, and praised the efforts to preserve joint relations in the mountain region

His Eminence Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan received in the community's house today, the Maronite Archdiocese of Saida, Bishop Maroun Al-Ammar, accompanied by the priest of the Saydet Al-Dur Church in Al-Mukhtara, Father Eid Bu Rashid, in the presence of Sheikh Fawzat Al-Orm. During the meeting, a number of issues and topics related to public spiritual and national affairs were reviewed.
It was an occasion in which His Eminence commended "Bishop Al-Ammar, who has always called for caring and peace, and for the efforts he exerts in strengthening and consolidating the spiritual and social values that characterize the mountain region, and to preserve and maintain relations and common foundations."
After the meeting, Bishop Al-Ammar said, "We come to this honorable home that we feel at home, to our brother in deep and firm spiritual bond, His Eminence Sheikh Al-Aql, and to the home of all brothers, and everyone who works for good in the mountain and the country. The conditions we live in today in Lebanon are difficult, but they are not so in front of caring, where good hearts work together for the sake of the country.
He added, "Our loving prayer accompanies His Eminence Sheikh Naeem Hasan, and also His Eminence, the new Sheikh Al-Aql, our friend, Dr. Sheikh Sami Abi Al-Muna, and we congratulate the sect and all those responsible in it, and we put our hands in theirs for the sake of the mountain and Lebanon."
His Eminence received the Progressive Socialist Party's Information Commissioner, Saleh Hudaifa, and the general situation was presented.
He also received the lawyer Hussam Rasbeih, in the presence of the Secretary of the confessional council, Mr. Nizar Al-Baradei.
Among the visitors to the community's house was a delegation from the Al-Zuhairi family in Beirut. Engineer Marwan Al-Zuhairi thanked His Eminence on behalf of the delegation for his condolences on the passing of his sister. A delegation from the brothers of the late Adib Fleihan, accompanied by a member of the sectarian council, Sheikh Muhammad Ghannam, also visited His Eminence, and expressed their appreciation and admiration for Sheikh Al-Aql's support for the family.
His Eminence also received Dr. Hisham Ajeeb and Dr. Wael Karameh.
