Sheikh Al-Aql and Jumblatt visited Abi Al-Muna to congratulate him as an acclamation candidate

Following the closing of the nomination door for the position of the Sheikh Al Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), and the population of the legal record by the Secretariat of the confessional council, His Eminence Sheikh Al Aql, Sheikh Naeem Hasan headed a delegation of members of the Board of Directors and the confessional council to visit the candidate of Sheikh of Aql position, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna in the town of Shanay. The visit was to congratulate the acclamation candidate for the position, in the presence of the head of the Al-Irfan Foundation, Sheikh Nazih Rafea, Judge Sheikh Gandhi Makarem, Sheikhs from the Al-Irfan Foundation and its administration, and people from the town of Shanay.
Sheikh Al-Aql delivered a speech in which he addressed Sheikh Abi Al-Muna, and said, “May God have mercy on the righteous predecessors in this honorable family, and we have been with Al-Irfan from the beginning since those difficult days that passed as we wish for Al-Irfan isnstitution and its president Sheikh Nazih Rafea further progress, and good luck to you with your values of culture, awareness, and qualifications. This is where we hope for, moving forward with the institutions of Office of Sheikh Al Aql and the Sectarian Council, which were launched with your efforts and all the benevolent members of the former and current members of the Council to have the legal framework that we must maintain administratively and financially.
His Eminence added, "The Council has endured many unjust arrows, and it plays its role in serving the people in terms of offerings and assistance, and in duty. May God absolve those who accuse us. God willing, with your presence and your continuity, the work of the confessional council becomes clearer. We wish you the best of luck and success in serving the sect and the country.
Jumblatt's arrival: In the meantime, parliament member Walid Jumblatt, head of the Progressive Socialist Party, arrived at the house of Sheikh Abi Al-Muna. It was a gathering meeting, during which Sheikh Abi Al-Muna delivered a speech to "Welcoming His Eminence Sheikh Al-Aql Sheikh Naeem Hasan, and with His Excellency MP Walid Beik Jumblatt and all the brothers and loved ones in our house, and we extend our thanks for everyone who stood with us with his heart and soul to contest this entitlement, for the sake of the service of the sect and the country.”
He added, "Praise be to God for completing the matter of acclamation under your patronage, support and love, and under the wing of His Eminence Sheikh Naeem Hasan, may God prolong your life and the brothers in the sectarian council who nominated us and supported us in bearing this responsibility. Here the responsibility, no matter how difficult it is, becomes easy in the case of cooperation, and God willing, with your support, Walid Beik and the home of honor and dignity, we can face the challenges, and we extend our hand to everyone inside and outside the sect, so that we can deliver achievements and bring together. And we proceed mainly from the Foundation of Al-Irfan, which was sponsored by Walid Beik and its monotheistic, Islamic, Arab and national approach. We were with the late Sheikh Ali Zain Al-Deen, and today, with Sheikh Nazih Rafea and the rest of the Sheikhs, it was a long journey, and we will vever change.”
Jumblatt: In turn, the head of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, said, "I sought reconciliation for the last moment, but all the names that were presented to me, and I think some of them passed on by Prince Talal Arslan. A political, social and religious challenge, and this job is comparable to the Mufti of the Republic, the patriarch, the head of the Supreme Shiite Council and others. I do not think that anyone can do this job except Sheikh Sami Abi Al-Muna, who continued in the approach established by Sheikh Naeem Hasan, and Sheikh Naeem went through enormous difficulties and some may ask about the achievements. It is enough that after 70 or 80 years, the endowments were unified."
