His Eminence, Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan and the head of the Democratic Gathering, Representative Taymour Jumblat offered condolences this afternoon on the death of the head of the Supreme Shiite Islamic Council, Sheikh Abd al-Amir Qabalan, at the headquarters of the Shiite Islamic Council on airport road, heading a delegation of Sheikhs, the Doctrinal Council, the Democratic Gathering, and leadership of the Progressive Socialist Party.
The delegation included MPs Akram Shehayeb, Dr. Bilal Abdullah, Faisal Al-Sayegh, Hadi Abu Al-Hosn, resigned MP Marwan Hamadeh, Vice President of the Progressive Socialist Party Duraid Yaghi and its Deputy General Secretary Dhafer Naser, several members of the Leadership Council, as well as advisor to MP Walid Jumblat, Hussam Harb.
The head of the Druze Supreme Court of Appeal, Judge Faisal Nasser al-Din, Judge Gandhi Makarim, former Chief of Staff Major General Shawqi al-Masri, Sheikhs and members of the board of directors and the doctrinal council, as well as spiritual, social and partisan personalities also were part of the delegation.
