His Eminence Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan received today in the community house - Beirut, a delegation from the Qahwaji family, which included Brigadier General George Qahwaji, Dr. Mufeed Qahwaji, Mr. Mark Qahwaji, in addition to the head of Baadaran municipality Ahmad Salloum, in the presence of member of the confessional council, Sheikh Fadi Al-Attar.
During the meeting, the delegation stressed the "cordial relationship with His Eminence, which represents a symbolism in the mountain region in particular, where there is constant and continuous keenness to strengthen communication and consolidate brotherly relations between the people of the same region."
It was an occasion in which Sheikh al-Aql saluted the national and humanitarian spirituality that the Qahwaji family possesses, as well as all the spiritual families in the mountain. The goal is for the word to remain unified, and such that the values of coexistence, love and dialogue always stay ahead. We, as all our children, strive to live in brotherly love and peace in both the souls and the minds, and to preserve the values of tolerance and togetherness, and the solidarity around which all the people of this region meet.”
