Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan expressed his sorrow for the painful events that took place in Khaldeh and urged all concerned parties to exercise restraint to prevent matters from escalating, and to prevent the situation from drifting towards chaos or strife, God forbid, stressing the need for the security forces and the army to take over and to arrest all those involved and bring them to justice. His Eminence expressed that only the state, with its legitimate institutions, is the guarantee of security and the achievement of justice.
