His Eminence, Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan received at the Community House in Verdun today, the Governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Abboud, accompanied by a member of the Beirut Municipal Council, Mr. Rami Al Ghawi. Issues and topics related to the reality of Beirut and its current situation were presented at various national, economic and public livelihood levels.
After the meeting, Abboud said: “Our visit to His Eminence Sheikh Al-Aql is to congratulate him on the holidays and to take his blessing. We briefed His Eminence on the situation in Beirut today, and we received from him his remarks and opinions in this regard, and we also agreed with His Eminence to communicate, especially with the symbolism of the noble Druze community, which is One of the pillars of this country, and it is our duty always to visit this house and have the honor to meet the eminently gentle man and the national reference, hoping that the next visit and Lebanon will be in a better condition. "
Abboud added: "We also exchanged with His Eminence the national and humanitarian concerns about the reality of the country and the people of Beirut in particular in light of the difficult days that we are going through, the economic and living conditions, the conditions of poverty, the lazy situation in which we live, which requires concerted efforts among the people of the country, especially the people of dignity and bright minds in putting their hands together for the sake of saving Lebanon from falling into the abyss. "
