His Eminence, Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan visited the home of the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Walid Al-Bukhari in Yarze, accompanied by the head of the Supreme Druze Court of Appeal Sheikh Faisal Naseruddin and the judge of the sect, Sheikh Gandhi Makarem.
After the meeting, His Eminence said in a statement: "Our visit today is to confirm the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting Lebanon and safeguarding it from dangers, and protecting it against the breaches in security and stability, which they have been performing as part of their generous initiatives and their honorable endeavors to preserve this country."
His Eminence added: "We wish the Kingdom, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Ambassador Al-Bukhari for preservation and safety which they affer. We denounce what happened and we regret such kind of behavior which is against our culture, traditions and manners and it is considered arbitrary, which represents a wild horse rushing without appreciation of any consequences."
His Eminence concluded: "We affirm the solidity of the relationship between Lebanon, the Gulf states and the Kingdom."
