His Eminence, Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan received at the Community House in Beirut today a delegation which included the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank of Beirut and the Arab Countries, Sheikh Ghassan Assaf, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Judge Abbas Al-Halabi, as well as the advisor to the President of the Progressive Socialist Party Mr. Rami Al-Rayyes. During the meeting, a number of general and national issues were reviewed, especially the current monetary condition. The delegation discussed with his Eminence a number of related issues and topics.
For his part, Sheikh Al-Aql praised the appreciated efforts made by Sheikh Ghassan Assaf and his board of directors for dealing wisely with the monetary and banking reality in light of the great difficulties facing the country and its citizens in this regard, as well as praising them for the charitable work they undertake.
His Eminence also received the Secretary of the Doctrinal Council, Lawyer Nizar Al-Baradei, and member of the Board of Trustees of Al-Duha Magazine, Professor Salim Abed and his wife, and they discussed the condition related to the magazine and the means and efforts to develop it and strengthen its position in light of the public conditions and the media reality in particular.
