His Eminence Sheikh Naeem Hasan met with a delegation from Amal movement to convey President Berri's keenness on unifying the viewpoints and his continuous quest for a comprehensive national consensus

His Eminence Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan received at the Community House today in Verdun, a delegation from Amal Movement led by Deputy Head of the Political Bureau Sheikh Hasan Al Masri and included member of the Political Bureau Dr. Talal Hatoum as well as Hajj Hasan Qabalan. The delegation conveyed to his Eminence the greetings of President Nabih Berri and his constant keenness on “the unity of the community at the Druze, Islamic and the national levels and his pursuit for a comprehensive and national consensus”. He also extended to his Eminence an invitation on behalf of the Amal movement to participate in the public festival held on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of the concealment of Al-Imam Moussa Al-Sadr and his two companions, taking place on the 31st of January in Nabatiyyeh.
His Eminence welcomed “the delegation in the Community House and thanked them for the invitation, he portrayed his appreciation for the great national role played by his Excellency Mr. Nabih Berri during the crises that the country is exposed to, the most recent of which was the incident in Qabr-Shmoun, which all the faithful believers in the security and stability of this country are counting on, as well as co-existence amongst all its citizens”.
After the meeting, Sheikh Al-Masri said, "we were honored to meet his Eminence Sheikh Al-Aql, to invite His Eminence to attend the anniversary of the concealment of the leader Al-Imam Moussa Al-Sadr, which will take place in Nabatiyeh this year. We conveyed to his Eminence the greetings of his Excellency President Nabih Berri and his constant concern for the unity at the Druze, Islamic, and the national levels. In turn, his Eminence expressed his great thanks to the distinguished role played by his Excellency President Nabih Berri on the Qabr-Shmoun crisis, and his constant keenness on the unity of the Druze position, which establishes a pan-Islamic unity that his Excellency will work to achieve, as an introduction to establish a comprehensive national consensus as a basis for establishing a nation that benefits all its citizens which deserves its people – as a country of kindness and coexistence as called by Al-Imam Moussa Al-Sadr himself”.
He added, “The conversation with his Eminence dealt with several affairs, and eventually he sent with us a special thanks and a liability to his Excellence President Berri, and we responded that there is no liabilities between us but the liability of a common precious religion of monotheism for one God, who brings everyone under His banner”.
Sheikh Al-Aql also received a delegation from the "Dr. Sheikh Mohammed Yacoub Foundation for Development", headed by Dr. Ali Yacoub, who presented to his Eminence an invitation to participate in a meeting under the title "the injustice to religious leaders and disclosure of the hidden truth" called by the Foundation and by the Archbishopric of Mount Lebanon for Syriac Orthodox, on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of the abduction of Al-Sayyed Mousa Al-Sadr, Sheikh Mohammed Yacoub and Mr. Abbas Badreddine, and the continued concealment of bishops Youhanna Ibrahim and Boulos Yaziji, which will be held in the Syriac Orthodox Church.
