His Eminence Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan stated:
“Against the ongoing attempts to sow strife and division, we call and urge the free members of the Druze monotheistic faith to calm down and prevent realization of the predators’ objectives, O brave sons of the western Shahhar, you are the ones entrusted with the blood and sacrifices and dignity. Beware of provocation of blood, beware of the direction to the unknown. You are the owners of history and the makers of the future, so let the voice of reason and wisdom and awareness be your measure and let us work together to eliminate sedition - God curse those who awaken it.”
