His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community Sheikh Naim Hassan received, in his house in Beney, a delegation of the Druze sheikhs from Sweidaa, representing the spiritual head of the Druze Unitarian Community in Syria Sheikh Hekmat Hejri. The delegation presented to Sheikh Hassan salutations and appreciations of the Druze in Arab Mountain, in addition to thanking them for the financial donations to the social aids that Lebanese Druze presented through sheikhdom to their brothers in Syria to help the citizens’ living status from the burdens of the crisis they passed through. The delegation also gave sheikh Hassan the documents and examinations related to aids’ distribution.
His Eminence Sheikh Akl hoped for the Syrian citizens the security, stability, and good free life, and called the Druze to hold on to their nationality and their Arab Islamic belonging, collaborate with their brothers in Syria, and to keep their national unity including the occupied Golan, which no conniving decisions able to change its identity.
