His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community Sheikh Naim Hassan received, in the Druze Community House in Beirut, the head of the Thoughts and Life Institution Mr. Saleh Hamed.
Hamed declared during the meeting that the visit comes in the context of supporting Sheikh Hassan as an official reference and a gate for the Druze religion with its religious, political, social and cultural dimensions.
He added: “it was an honor to visit the owner of this house, remembering the good relation with the respectful family, and we denounce what happened with His Eminence during his invitation to attend the Summit held in Beirut, and believe that what happened was out of the essentials of relations and protocol with its system, in fact it was against the customs, laws and traditions that the Lebanese society practiced”. He called for the concerned people that the time is not for the disagreements and texting small text messages to whom it may concern, especially that His Eminence Sheikh Naim Hassan represents the ethical values that the Druze people grew upon. Thus, joking with these religious themes elected democratically is not from the ethics of political actions. The Sheikh of this religion is a national religious reference, and Mokhtara is the only political reference with no other alternative.
His Eminence also met with Al Ghad Association for Development and Housing with the presence of its head the former Minister Adel Hamieh, then he met with the General Manager of the Religious council Mazen Fayad and with the managers and heads of departments in the General Directorate of the Religious Council, where they dealt with issues related to the council and Al Awkaf.
