The Druze Unitarian Community House, located in Verdun, accepted condolences for the martyrs of treachery, injustice, and terrorism in the Jabal Al Arab in Sweidaa, from His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Community Sheikh Naim Hassan, and the Druze Council. The Representative of the President General Michel Aoun, the Deputy Nicolas Towaini, the Representative of the speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri the Deputy Mohammad Al Khawajah, and the Representative of the prime minister Saad Al Hariri the Deputy Nazih Najem, expressed their condolences, as well as the President Michel Sleiman, the President Tammam Salam, and the Representative of the President Fouad Sanyoura the Doctor Ammar Houri.
As well as, The Representative of the Patriarch of Maronites, Cardinal Bshara Boutros Al Raii the Bishop Boulos Matar, the Representative of the Mufti of the Lebanese Republic Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian Sheikh Mohammad Al Arwadi, and the Beirut Metropolite and its subsidiaries for the Greek Orthodox the Bishop Elias Audi.
Also the Ministry of Tourism Ouwais Kedanian came and expressed condolences by the name of the Central Committee for the Tashnak Party, and the former President Alain Hakim in the name of the President of the Lebanese Phalange Party ,the Deputy Sami gemayel, the Deputy Adnan Traboulsi and top of them a delegation of the Islamic Charitable Projects Association, the Deputy Henry Helo, Wael Abou Faour, Hadi Abou Al Hosn, and the former ministers and Deputies Atef Majdalani, Ibrahim Chames El Dine, Salah Al Harakeh, Fadi Al Haber, Antoine Saad, and Ghazi Al Aridi.
The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Lebanon Doctor Hamad Al Shamesi, Plenipotentiary Charge of Affaires Walid al-Bukhari, the Representative of the Ambassador of the State of Palestine Ashraf Dabour the First Consultant Hassan Shatniyeh, the Lebanese Ambassador in Russia Shawki Bou Nassar, and the army brigadier commander the general Joseph Aoun represented the General Sobhi Ayoub accompanied with Officers’ delegation come to express their condolences. As well as, the Chief of the army the Major General Hatim Mallak, the Chief of Judicial Police the General Ousamma Abdel Malek, the Head of the National Security Services the General Wael Abou Shakra, and the Major General Walid Salman.
The Secretary General of the Future Movement Ahmad Al Hariri also participated with the delegations from Leadership of Amal movement, Lebanese phalange party, the Leadership of the Progressive Socialist Party, the commissioners and internal agents, and the deputy of the Democratic Renewal Movement Antoine Haddad. In addition to the Druze judges, Heads of committees and members of the sectarian council, Director General of the Council Mazen Fayad, Mrs. Hayat Irslan accompanied with numerous ladies of Al Jabal region, the Leadership Halim Bou Fakher El Dine, Judge Afif Al Hakim, the Major General George Al Boustani, Ladies Association of Al Jabal, several delegations from Sweidaa region, and spiritual, temporal, military, and civil delegations came to the delegations of Al Jabal, Hasbaya, Bekaa and South regions.
Sheikh Akl received a series of calls and condolences messages from Lebanon and abroad, most notably calls from the President of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council Sheikh Abed Al Amir Kabalan, President of the Maronite General Council Wadih Al Khazen, The Grand jaafari Mufti Sheikh Ahmad Kabalan, and messages from the Secretary-General of the Center of King Abdullah Ben Abdel Aziz Al Alami for discussions between followers of religion and cultures Faysal Ben Abdel Rahman Ben Moammar, expressed condolences “ for the martyrs of terroristic bombings committed by ISIS in Sweidaa district”, considering that “ the world is facing conflicts that are classified against humanity and that is targeting to all religion followers, threatening all societies, and provoking anarchy between its people”, a message from a platform for dialogue and cooperation between the leaderships and religious institutions in the Arab World, Statement from the Egyptian Observatory that condemned the Suweidaa attack, and a message of condolence and condemnation from the President of the General Worker Union Bshara Al Asmar.
