His Eminence Sheikh Akel of the Druze Unitarian Community Sheikh Naim Hassan congratulated the Lebanese people in general and especially the Christians, on the occasion of Christmas and New Year.
His Eminence made a phone call with the President of the Republic General Michel Aoun greeting him for the holidays as Sheikh Hassan wished him luck for the presidential covenant assuring that “when the nation is good, this goodness affects all his elements.”
In addition, His Eminence made a similar phone call with the Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Saint Bechara Boutros Al Rahi where “the affirmation on the agreement of all spiritual leaders on seeking and praying for the good of the nation” was mutual.
