His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community, the Sheikh Naim Hassan received at the House of the Community in Verdun-Beirut, the member of the Democratic meeting movement the deputy Ghazi Aridi with whom he discussed the general situation and the current developments. This meeting was an occasion for the Sheikh Hassan to examine with Aridi the projects of the Community Golden Council in different fields and the ways to activate the work at this level in a way that completes the function at the overall national level aiming at fortifying the national union and living as well as eliminating the country from tension.

His Eminence received then a delegation from the “North Kharroub Municipalities Union” joining the Union President Mr. Mohamad Bahij Mansour, the Sheikh Hassan Houhou and the president of municipality the engineer “Nashaat Hamia”, with whom he examined the intention to develop a landfill for wastes in the town. His Eminence also stressed on the fact that the file of wastes should be entirely resolved at the level of all Lebanon by adopting new strategies and methods in recycling the wastes and taking advantage of it in the energy projects and others, emphasizing that the statement of the leader Walid Jumblat about the lack of a landfill in Barja or Sibleen is more than enough to reassure the citizens and therefore there is no need to worry in this regard calling the Cabinet to acknowledge an entire plan concerning the file of wastes as soon as possible and to start immediately with its execution.
