His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan condemned the “calamity that hit the village of Ersal in Bekaa”.
He said in his declaration: “the multi-aspect terrorism is hitting Lebanon again and this time it has targeted the deep-rooted national village Ersal, causing innocent victims to death. This makes us more convinced with what we have always said that all the Lebanese with no exception are exposed to risk, starting from the Southern Suburb to Hermel and Ersal and to Tripoli where security is being threatened again and conflicts are being repeated without any final solution”.
He added: “all the above requires that we build on the positive points that appeared lately in the government’s file, hoping this prepares for a national climate that allows a decisive confrontation to all the aspects of security absence and leaves the door wide open to a political, security and social stability”.
