His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan received at the House of the Community in Verdun – Beirut a delegation from the association “Together for the human”, including the head of the association the Sheikh Ahmad El Badawi and religious chiefs from all the Lebanese confessions, in presence of the Druze Confessional judge the Sheikh Ghandi Makarem. The delegation discussed with his Eminence the plan of action that should be adopted by the association at all the religious and humanitarian levels.
His Eminence the Sheikh asserted to the delegation the importance of the permanent work that is meant to get the sons of the celestial religions of all the confessions closer, especially at this serious period through which the region is going in general and Lebanon in particular. This binds all the Lebanese people to unite in order to face the dissension attempts, anchor coexistence, consolidate the national union and perform all that is necessary in service of the humanitarian and national rightful issues.
Following the meeting, the Sheikh Badawi thanked his Eminence for the valuable meeting at this honorable House and declared that the delegation has informed the Sheikh Hassan about the association’s activities and humanitarian services provided by it. “We have also stressed on the orientations of his Eminence in this concern”.
