His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan warned about a gang of falsification and fraud in the regions of the Jabal, Rashaya and Hasbaya, and which are using the names of a large number of religious references to steal people’s money under charitable fake titles. His Eminence the Sheikh Hassan hoped that citizens be strongly aware of these activities and immediately notify the security forces about any similar incident so that they do not fall into the fraud chain of this gang. He also asked the security forces and the competent authorities to strive in order to reveal these persons and transfer them to judicial authorities as soon as possible.

His Eminence received at the House of the Community in Verdun – Beirut the General Consul of Malawi Republic in Lebanon Antoine Akiki and they discussed during the meeting the general situation. His Eminence also received the Director of Notre Dame University “NDU” of the Shouf Branch, the Father Francois Akl in a visit of congratulations at the occasion of the Holy Adha Feast.
