His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan received at the House of the Community in Verdun – Beirut a delegation from the Holy Alaouite Shrine in the Holiest Najaf in Iraq, presided by the Secretary General his Eminence the Scholar the Sheikh Diaa Eddine Zeineddine and the members of the Board of Directors, in presence of the religious consultant of the Sheikhdom Akl the Sheikh Ghassan El Halabi. The delegation addressed an invitation to his Eminence to participate to the activities of the Worldwide Al-Ghadeer Festival that will be held at the Holy Shrine.

His Eminence the Sheikh emphasized before the delegation the role of the Holy Shrines in Iraq, that are striving for the Muslims’ union and carrying the spirit of equality, charity, harmony and reunion, calling for the spread of peace and tranquility in Iraq and the whole region, and for the victory of the truth against the bad, wishing the conference all the luck.

As for the head of the delegation, he expressed to his Eminence his strong appreciation for his positions rejecting dissension and calling for union and charity as well as his serious efforts for peace.
