His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan visited Hasbaya village and Bayada, addressing his condolences at the death of the deceased Selman El Harfani. He was greeted by a number of Sheikhs and spiritual figures and the inhabitants as well.
His Eminence renewed his support to “the Sheikhs, to the sons of the region and to the deceased’s family after the crime that took place. He also asked the security bodies to make all the efforts in order to reveal the perpetrators and sanction them before the competent judicial authorities. The Sheikh thanked the President of the Republic the General Michel Suleiman who took the initiative and called him immediately after the crime took place, expressing his condemnation for the incident and showing the necessary interest for this affair”.
