His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan received a phone call from his Excellency the President of the Republic the General Michel Suleiman, expressing his condolences at the death of Sheikh Selman El Harfani who was the victim of a murder in Hasbaya. The President Suleiman certified the necessity of performing all the investigations immediately to reveal the perpetrators and transfer them to the judicial authorities.
His Eminence also received similar phone calls from his Eminence the Mufti of the Republic the Sheikh Mohamad Rashid Kabbani and from the First Jaafari Mufti, the Sheikh Ahmad Kabalan as well as a large number of municipalities’ presidents, mayors and other figures.
