His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan emphasized the necessity of consolidating the pillars of the Islamic Union and fortifying the Islamic and Islamo-Christian cohesion as well. We should face all what causes the dissension that is about to appear in many Islamic countries, calling all the leaders and States to work hard in order to prevent any fissure that might hit the Islamic nation, in a way that enables it to confront all the challenges imposed on it.

This was during the reception of his Eminence the Sheikh for the Iranian Ambassador in Lebanon Ghadanfar Rokn Abadi who declared after the meeting what follows: “We are glad to visit today the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan. This visit was at the occasion of the Prophet’s Birth Mohamed – Prayers and Peace of God be upon him – and the Islamic union week as well. We discussed during the meeting this union and the necessity of fortifying it between all the Islamic confessions and religions, between the Muslims and Christians and between all the celestial religions. We also discussed the latest international and regional incidents as well as the Iranian – Lebanese relations. We stressed on the crisis in Syria and its repercussions”.

In addition, his Eminence received the Ambassador of Spain in Lebanon Milagros Hernando and they discussed the general situation. He also received the Lieutenant Colonel Sherif Fayad.
