His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan expressed his “strong sorrow and regret toward the bloodshed that is taking place in Palestine”, reproving “the wild hostility on Gaza Strip by the Israeli enemy that never ceased its barbarian attacks of all kinds”.
His Eminence addressed a call “toward the bloody wound scene in Gaza, to the Arab and Islamic countries to accelerate to take the decisive procedures and measures leading to the cease of the tyrannical hostility and the prevention of the enemy from pursuing its violations”, certifying that “the Palestinian issue is a trust under the protection of both the Arab and Islamic nations and abandoning it shall be legitimately and ethically forbidden”. He also called the international community to “comply with the human values and force Israel to stop violence and withdraw”.
