His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan strongly condemned the criminal and immoral attack that killed the Head of the Information Department at the Interior Security Forces the Martyr Wissam El Hassan as well as a number of Lebanese citizens in Achrafieh region and that injured many people, horrified the inhabitants and damaged the entire nation.

His Eminence called all the State’s bodies to make all their efforts and be totally ready to take action so that they get to reveal the perpetrators and transfer them to the Judicial Authorities as soon as possible. He also urged all the political forces and citizens as well to withhold themselves, remain quiet and not to slip into dissension intended by the criminals who are waiting to attack Lebanon, and prevent any perturbation of civil peace and security for the sake of which the Martyr El Hassan had worked hard and was killed, he who was known for his achievements in revealing the terrorism and sabotage networking and unveiling a large number of dangerous crimes.

His Eminence the Sheikh addressed his deepest and sincerest condolences to the Interior Security Forces Institution and the Information Branch, as well as the family of the Martyr El Hassan and to all the Lebanese people, asking God his Almighty to protect the martyrs under His Mercy, help the injuries recover and keep Lebanon away from the imminent risks.
