The Press Office of the Sheikhdom Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community clarified that “what was published by Al-Akhbar” newspaper in its issue on Tuesday April 9, 2013 under the title: “Fire shooting at the House of the Community” is not true by any means, certifying that there was not any problem of this kind in any way at the House of the Community protected by the security forces, the only body charged with guarding the place”.

He emphasized that “objectivity and professionalism require from the news media to be accurate in their news from official and trusty sources, especially if these news carry with their publication what provokes fanaticism that we are striving to prevent”, mentioning that “the Sheikhdom Akl and the Confessional Council of the Druze Unitarian Community are always ready, through the press office, to answer the questions of all the news medias so that they would be accurate and we would not have to take legal procedures against the publishers of such false news”.
