His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan made a phone call to the Patriarch John Yaziji X, congratulating him for his election as the head of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate, wishing to him “the best of luck in his tasks at this serious period through which the region is going”. His Eminence expressed his “aspirations to cooperate with the Patriarch Yaziji by striving continuously to unite the sons of the celestial religions and certifying the Islamo-Christian coexistence.
