His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan hoped in his declaration that “the visit of his Holiness the Pope to Lebanon would be placed in its usual historical position as a major opportunity to defeat the plans of dissension between the partisans of religions in our region and that it would be up to the Lebanese people’s aspirations, a historical stop that consolidates coexistence between them and anchors the bases of charity and convergence, hoping that the Lebanese and the sons of the region as well realize that their shining future would only be achieved by their solid union and solidarity in front of all the forms of separation and dissension”.
