His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan condemned in his declaration the offence to the Islam and to the person of the Great Messenger in one of the movies, emphasizing “the necessity of respecting the religious symbols and values and insisting on the fraternity between the sons of the celestial religions and the maintenance of coexistence between the Christians and Moslems all over the world”.
His Eminence expressed his rejection for the violent reactions that took place. In fact, the response to extremism should be only by the reinforcement of the Islamo-Christian cohesion and the stimulation of dialogue that the International Community should be held responsible for”.
