His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan received at the House of the Druze Community in Verdun - Beirut, the Ambassador of France in Lebanon Patrice Paoli and discussed the general situation.
The Ambassador underlined the support of the stability and sovereignty of Lebanon, as well as the preservation of the diversity and union of its sons and the enhancement of dialogue between them.
As for his Eminence the Sheikh Naim Hassan, he mentioned the role of France in the forces of the UNIFIL at the South of Lebanon and the aids offered by the French government, as well as the considerable position taken by France in the preservation of Lebanon’s independence and legitimate institutions, emphasizing the pursuance of the efforts to solve the Palestinian issue considered as a basis for the Arab region’s stability.
