His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan received at his house in Bounia, the Father Fadi Daou delegated by the Maronite Patriarch Saint Beshara Boutros Rahi, and they discussed the possibility of holding a spiritual summit soon.
His Eminence emphasized the fact that “holding the summit in these difficult circumstances surrounding the nation and the region, is of a primary importance regarding the national, spiritual and social reassurance”, mentioning that “this represents an important symbolism and an essential message, in parallel to the initiative of the President of Republic Michel Suleiman to hold the dialogue. This certifies that the Lebanese are aware of the risks that surround them and are firm to the preservation of convergence, understanding and dialogue as the unique language between them”.
