His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan received at the House of the Community in Verdun, a delegation from the Islamo-Christian Youth” Body for dialogue presided by Malek El Mawlawi, in presence of the Head of the Social Committee at the Confessional Council Issam Abou Zaki. They discussed the Body’s activities in the frame of dialogues.
His Eminence certified to the delegation “the importance of the perseverant work at all levels in order to immunize national union, consolidate coexistence between the Lebanese of all confessions and beliefs, fight dissension by consciousness, wisdom and reason and adopt the path of dialogue and institutions to solve disputed issues, especially after the troubling and dangerous incidents witnessed in the last days”. The delegation carried an invitation to the Sheikh Akl to participate to the conference entitled “Minorities Obsessions in the Arab Region”.
