The Ambassador of France in Lebanon Dennis Pietton visited his Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan at the House of the Community in Verdun to say his farewell, and they discussed the situation in Lebanon and the region. During this meeting, his Eminence hoped that the French government “works hard to stop the Israeli violations and provide the efficient support to the Palestinian case, mentioning that the support of France for Lebanon’s affairs, sovereignty and independence, as well as its involvement in the UNIFIL forces in the South, play an essential role in the reinforcement of Lebanon’s stability”.

He wished Pietton “the best of luck in his new missions”, emphasizing “his role in consolidating the historical relations between Lebanon and France”.
