His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan received at House of the Druze Unitarian Community in Verdun – Beirut, a delegation from the World Lebanese Cultural Union presided by the engineer Masaad Hajal accompanied by the members of the Union’s Board of Directors.
His Eminence the Sheikh Akl called the delegation “to consolidate the cohesion of the Union that represents the strength for all, which leads to the immunization of the Lebanese immigrants in the world and the fortification of their efforts so that they would serve their hometown Lebanon, deliver its claims and present its issues in all the associations of the world. He also insisted on the role of the Union in anchoring the communication between the immigrants and their country which economy strongly and mainly relies on the incomes and transfers of the immigrants, contributing to the improvements of the living conditions of the citizens”.
During the meeting, the delegation explained to his Eminence the activities and the goals of the Union, especially concerning its settlement for the affairs of the immigrants as well as its role in protecting their interests and fortifying the communication with their country.
