His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan met at his house in Bounia the Pastor of the Maronite parish of Baalbeck - Deir El Ahmar the Archbishop Semaan Atallah, accompanied by the Brigadier General Anwar Yehia, and they discussed the current general situation in the country, emphasizing the importance of convergence and union, as well as the fortification of permanent coexistence in Lebanon.
His Eminence the Sheikh assured that "what happened in the Parliament after the adoption of the electricity project proves that the Lebanese, with the initiative of the relentless leaders among the political forces, are able to reach common formulas in several life affairs related to the Lebanese", hoping "to keep all these urgent cases far away from the political conflicts in order to provide an appropriate life to the citizens, in a quiet political and security ambiance". He also received a delegation from the "United National Gathering" presided by Ghassan Chebli El Eryan.
