His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan discussed at the House of the Druze Community in Verdun, with the Chief of Staff at the Lebanese Army, Major General Staff Walid Selman, the general situation of the country.
During this meeting, his Eminence the Sheikh Naim Hassan assured the importance of reinforcing and fortifying the capacities of the Lebanese army as a legal institution charged of protecting the country towards the attacks and consolidating security and stability. He also emphasized the necessity of strengthening the national confidence of the army, mentioning the role of its direction facing the serious situation that Lebanon was and is still passing through.
His Eminence wished the General Selman the best of good luck in the execution of his missions, he who is the son of the military institution and known for his competence.
