His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community Sheikh Naim Hassan condemned and deprecated the explosion incident that hit the Church of Syriac Orthodox in Zahle “in front of the security violation denouncing any tentative which targets coexistence and civil peace in Lebanon. He also called for “more harmony and unity, as well as strengthening and activating the abilities of the Lebanese security system in order to face any security violation, detect the planners and all suspects trying to mess up security in Lebanon”. He declared his solidarity with “the brothers of Syriac Orthodox Community”, considering that “any similar attack will be deemed as an attack against all Lebanese people”.

In this context, his Eminence called for “the necessity of making potential efforts in order to reveal the destiny of foreign tourists, so that Lebanon preserves the minimum of confidence locally and abroad. He announced that the current situation requires acceleration in the government constitution without any slowdown. This is meant to consolidate stability and strengthen the State’s dignity and institutions”.
