The Sheikh Akl of the Unitarian druze Community Naim Hassan congratulated His Beatitude the new Patriarch Bechara El Rahi - through a phone call- and wished him the best of luck in his coming missions at the patriarchal siege, hoping that he would contribute with his brothers the chiefs of religions in Lebanon to consolidate the ties of coexistence, cooperation and unity. He also congratulated the council of the maronite bishops for electing a new patriarch for Antioch siege and the rest of the East.

He saluted the Cardinal Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir for all what he offered during his long mission for the country and the eminence of its citizens, as well as the coexistence between Lebanese, mentioning in this concern the historic reconciliation of the Jabal that put end to an enormous file of injuries between citizens of the same country.
