His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of Druze Unitarian Community El Sheikh Naim Hassan received at the community house in Verdun, the ambassador of the United States in Lebanon Moura Conelly in a protocol visit, during which she discussed with the Sheikh Akl general issues and subjects in addition to the bilateral relations, the ways of their development and enhancement as well as the assistances offered by the United states to Lebanon in different fields.

His eminence stressed in the meeting “on the necessity of using every effort possible to enhance and consolidate the Lebanese national unity, calling everybody whatever is their position to work in order to maintain civil peace which is the only choice of the Lebanese. He also called to find a fair solution to the Palestinian Cause, and to stop the Israeli attacks and violations against the Palestinian people and land.”

Sheikh Hassan also received the attorney Mazen Abou El Hassan.
