His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Unitarian Druze community, Sheikh Naim Hassan received at the house of the Druze community in Verdun, a delegation of Islamic scientists, headed by Sheikh Hassan Abdallah. After the meeting, Dr. Abdul Nasser Jabri declared in the name of the delegation:” during the visit we discussed with His Eminence the Sheikh Akl issues that preserve the Lebanese Society with all its confessions. We believe that by our unity we resist the Zionist enemy; we discussed as well the importance and the necessity of preserving the resistance that gave Lebanon a strong push before the world to preserve itself.”
He added: “we also discussed what we are doing as scientists to maintain values and ethics, our condemnation to matters contravening these values that some media are broadcasting through some programs aiming to corrupt societies. Moreover, we informed his eminence the Sheikh about a movement that will work to confront this duplication.
