Given the repeated films and interviews about the Druze by some stations, local and spatial mass media, in a way that offends the monotheism confession, given that most of these films and interviews are partially published, or some scenes indecent to be published are filmed, or invented interviews which content is inadequate are broadcasted, mentioning sometimes sensitive and delicate subjects which do not have a unified answer as it should be, and given that the religious places as retreats, sanctuaries and others are places of worship and benediction, it is recommendable for informers and visitors not to enter them without fulfilling the conditions required for the sanctity of the place and without prior coordination,

Therefore, to maintain the religious condition, and in order not to fall into an error which will be negatively reflected on the society, that deforms – intentionally or unintentionally – the image of the Unitarian Druze before the public opinion, especially in the Arab and Islamic worlds,

Based on the guidance of the honorable Sheikhs and the different remarks that we received in this regard, going from the role and the responsibility of the Sheikhdom in this field, all the brothers that are in charge of the retreats and sanctuaries subject to do interviews concerning the religious matters, are requested to ask the concerned persons to obtain an authorization issued by the Sheikhdom, and to coordinate with it before facilitating the mission and allowing to film or give any interview related to the religious subject, content and manifestations, that may be broadcasted without being in its appropriate place.

We hope that you’ll cooperate and bear the common responsibility, wishing reward and recompense for you and for us, to maintain the principles of the religion and respect its position as well as the dignity of its people and symbols.
