His Eminence the Sheikh of Druze Monotheist Confession, El Sheikh Naim Hassan received in the House of Druze confession in Verdun the ambassador of Iran in Lebanon Ghadanfar Rokon Abadi accompanied by the chargé d’affaires Mounir Massoud Hassinian and a number of superiors in the embassy, in the framework of his round to the spiritual leaders, in the presence of the Druze confessional judge El Sheikh Ghandi Makarem.

After the meeting Abadi put the visit in the framework of assuring the sincere affection and the start with a new hope on the Lebanese field especially concerning the role played by the sheikh for the national unity. He added, “The Iranian Islamic Republic ensures the enhancement of the relations with everybody in Lebanon especially with His Eminence El Sheikh Naim Hassan and the Brothers Sheikhs in Druze Unitarian Confession. It was an occasion where we talked about the last developments in Lebanon and in the region especially the crime committed today by the Zionist Enemy against the freedom fleet while it was going to Gaza shore to lift its embargo. We repeat our condemnation of the criminal operation, and we call to support the fair issues on their head the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon.

Abadi considered answering a question, “that the Israeli threats against Lebanon are not new, since the establishment of this entity we are facing threat against the world and the Middle East specifically, the Republic of Iran condemns such threats and calls all the free in the world to spare no efforts, capacities and powers to face the Zionist occupation.
