In the framework of its round to spiritual leaderships, the “list of Beirut Unity” presided by Dr. Bilal Hamad Samaha visited the Sheikh of Druze Unitarian Confession El Sheikh Naim Hassan at the Druze confession House in Verdun to inform him about the atmosphere and the preparation for the coming municipal requirement.

His Eminence welcomed the delegation wishing them success in everything related to the development and prosperity of the capital as well as to the service of its citizens, stressing in the occasion on Beirut families harmony, the consolidation and confirmation of common living, as well as preservation of national unity which remains the most important matter ever.

After the meeting Hamad declared, “We were honored by visiting His Eminence the Sheikh at the House of nationalism and wisdom in order to come to know his advice, instructions and wisdom to go in a blessed process if we will succeed in the requirement next Sunday. Beirut needs all of its citizens and a work team representing the Christians and the Moslems, and this team is full of skills and represents the majority of the families.

 He added, “We work to stand for municipal elections next Sunday in a democratic way even if the candidates retreated, in order to prove the Beirut voice and to compete for the service of our great city.
