The confessional council of Druze Monotheist community organized with the blessing and the presence of the Confession Sheikh, El Sheikh Naim Hassan, upon an invitation from both cultural and social committees a family meeting for women organizations at the House of the confession in Verdun in the occasion of “mother’s day”, attended by a number of members from the confessional council and women personalities from the mountain, Rachaya, Hasbaya and Beirut. The Sheikh talked and called to intensify and organize activities and cooperation between the committees of the confessional council and the social, women and youth organizations for the good of the society and to provoke a cultural, religious and social wished rise, confirming the role of the women in general and the mother in particular, reminding of her obligations in educating according to divine values and moral virtues, of a healthy nutrition care  for the soul and the body equally, regretting the situation that some families reached by moving away from the customs, and traditions, stressing on the role of the mother in the family, the society and the nation safe structure.

The president of the cultural committee El Sheikh Sami Abi El Mouna also talked confirming the communication and the integration between the confession women associations and organizations, between them and between the confessional council as a representative of the confession and a protector of its children and institutions; pointing to the plan of the cultural committee in developing the awareness. From its side the member of the social committee in the council Ghada Joumblatt expressed her “belief in the role of the woman, stressing that the monotheist society needs to build its social institutions. The vice-president of the Lebanese Women Council and the president of “Students house Association” Farida El Rayes pointed out in the name of women organizations to the important role that falls on women, requesting the modification of some civil status provisions as raising the custody age and give equity to the wife. The member of the cultural committee Ghaleb Salika told a touching story about the mother from his book Emotions and Lessons. The Social Department at the General Directorate in the confessional council supervised the organization of the meeting.
