His Eminence the Sheikh of Druze Monotheist Confession, El Sheikh Naim Hassan received in the House of Druze confession in Verdun the New Nuncio in Lebanon the Archbishop Gabriel Giordano Gaccia accompanied with Thomas Habib, the counselor in the embassy.
The Nuncio transmitted a congratulation letter to the Sheikh from His Holiness the Pope in the occasion of the holy Adha, and they exposed a number of general and dual issues and subjects, especially the relation between religions.
His Eminence the Sheikh wished success to the Nuncio in his new missions in Lebanon, insisting on the role enjoyed by His Holiness the Pope to spread love, peace and openness to the whole humanity. He also insisted on the characteristic of Lebanon common living between its different confessions and societies section, along with the essential observance of the national unity between all of his citizens.
