The congratulation in the occasion of the Holy Adha to which invited His Eminence the Sheikh of the Druze Monotheist Confession, El Sheikh Naim Hassan and the confessional council at the Druze confession House made a global national occasion, during which His Eminence received the congratulators with the representative of the “Democratic Assembly” the deputy Walid Joumblatt, his son Teymour accompanied with the Sheikh Bahij Abou Hamze, the administration and the members of the confessional council, the confession judges and the president of the Druze Appeal Supreme Court the judge Nohad Hreiz.
The Minister Adnan El Sayed Hussein representing the President of the Republic came congratulating as well as the deputy Hani Kobeissi representing the President of the Parliament at the Head of delegation from “Amal movement”, the deputy Ammar Houry representing the Prime Minister, the Minister of Interior Ziad Baroud at the head of a delegation from security leaders, the Minister of Education Hassan Mneimneh, the Minister of Labor Boutros Harb, the member of the Liberal National Movement leadership Nassif Kazzi representing the president of the “Change and Reform Coalition” the deputy Michel Aoun at the head of a delegation, as well as the deputies: Marwan Hamadeh, Assem Araji, Tony Abi Khater, Shant Gengenian, Joseph Maalouf, Fadi Habre, Henry Helou, Fouad El Saad, Atef Majdalani, Mohamad Hajjar, Elie Aoun, Naji Gharios, Nehme Tohme, the ex-minister Joseph Sarkis representing the president of the executive body of “Lebanese Forces” party Samir Geagea, the ex-minister Elias Hanna, the ex-deputy Issam Naaman, the Brigadier General Pilot Hanna El Saad representing the Army Commander, the chief of the army staff Major General Chawki Masri and a group of political, party and social personalities.

The meeting of confessions leaders

Also came the Muphti of the Republic El Sheikh Mohamad Rachid Kabbani at the head of a delegation from Dar El Fatwa, the vice-president of Higher Shiite Islamic council El Sheikh Abdul Amir Kabalan, Monseigneur  Michel Aoun representing the Maronite Patriarch, the Archimandrite Seraphim Bardawil representing the Greek Orthodox Metropolite of Beirut, the Archbishop Kegham Khatcharian representing the Catholicos of Cilicia Armenian Orthodox, different spiritual bodies, popular and religious delegations from different regions. During the meeting of Islamic confessions leaders, His Eminence El Sheikh Naim Hassan welcomed the muphti Kabbani and El Sheikh Kabalan as well as the audience saying: “this house recovers today by your presence a holy occasion after decades of interruption. The feast day is two occasions the holy Adha and your honored presence, so you are welcome.”
His Eminence the Muphti Kabbani said congratulating: “I think that this feast will be followed by another one, and it is the new stage through which Lebanon is passing, a stage that inspires if it pleases God security and tranquility in this new government that includes all the Lebanese, the unity government presided by El Sheikh Saad Hariri, God grants him and the members of his government success, for the good of Lebanon and all Lebanese. This new stage is also an exam period to all the Lebanese concerning what they offer to their nation, their distance form conflicts and their progress towards themselves. We ask God to Whom be ascribed all perfection and majesty that all the Lebanese succeed in this exam.”
His Eminence El Sheikh Kabalan said: “Today is El Adha, and there was a feast before it which is the attended Ministerial report, and the constitution of the honorable government. We care about this feast, because it is a new and honorable turn to strengthen the unity and support the continuity and persistence of Lebanon. We support it as army, institutions and resistance, because these days, we need to support these institutions and work to keep the mother institution, the Lebanese Army of which we are proud. For this reason this house, this meeting and this reunion are a good announcement for a beautiful, kind and great future. We are here to say to the world that Lebanon is a unique copy and his citizens cooperate and love each others.
In the second reunion we will meet the archbishops and all the Christian brothers, because Lebanon, this varied and diversified nation, gathers us on all the land of prophets and martyrs. We must support Lebanon and unite the ranges, cooperate with each other so it will stay perseverant and high, challenging the tornados, and to stay a sour grapes and a thorn in the eye of Israel, being defending alone these days the dignity of the Arabs and Moslems. So let us be all one hand and god is with everybody.”

El Sheikh Naim Hassan prayed with the believers at the place of El Sheikh Ahmad Amineddine in Abaye in the morning of the feast, with the participation of spiritual and social authorities and a number of judges from the confession as well as the administration and the members of the Druze Confessional Council.
