His Eminence the Sheikh of the Druze Monotheist Confession, El Sheikh Naim Hassan and a delegation from the council visited the President of the Parliament Mr. Nabih Berri in the second presidency siege in Ain El Tine, and His Eminence clarified saying “our visit to the President Berri is a duty in every national and historical step. The president Berri is the man of the State who stands in the middle of the political interattractions circle in this country and he is an essential pillar and guarantee to Lebanon state and independence process.”
His Eminence added: “this visit comes between the independence and El Adha. Concerning the independence we hope that the Taëf accomplishment will be achieved. We support the orientation of the President Berri concerning the completion of the Taëf. The establishment of a senate as the Taëf said is not an agreement it became a constitution and we confirm that. Concerning the Adha we bless and congratulate our Islamic and Arab Nation in general and the Lebanese in particular.”
