Sheikh Aql of Mouwahidoun Druze sect, Sheikh Naim Hassan paid a visit yesterday to Khalwat AL Bayyada shrine accompanied with a delegation of Sheikhs from Al Chouf, Aley and Metn besides the Confessional Druze judges and the ex-Head of the Court of Appeal Sheikh Mersel Nasr. His Eminence emphasized that the citizens of Khalwat Al Bayyada have, throughout history, been guided by the wise verses of the Holly Koran and they realized by all their actions the real meaning and essence of its morals. Their acts translated their sayings, and so were their intents because they got rid of their secular desires related to seeking wealth, presidency, and other excessive lusts and isolated themselves with their decent kind soul that glorifies the One and Only God, and is purified by seeking His gratification and love. They, as every religious man should be, were an ideal for love of charity and applying same by word and deed. Had people disagreed about certain issues, the inhabitants of this luminous place would serve as a real symbol of harmony and reunification; and had they competed to seek secular desires, the ascetic of this Holly shrine would be a glowing candle to guide people in darkness and remind them by real benevolence, right and success. Nowadays, we should show deep reverence to God rehashing His grace, asking His forgiveness and praying to provide us with grace of vigilance, repentance such that we become what we should be by right and sound judgment, generously present moralities of our traditions and draw blessing from our monotheist beliefs; therefore, through this determination and sincere intent we will be gratifying God and His Messenger (PBUH).
His Eminence had visited several villages in Rachaya district urging the inhabitants to be loving, tolerant and preserve their traditions and virtues. He also delivered a speech emphasizing that each believer is responsible for his brother in humanity in providing his safety and proper treatment, supporting his advice and forgiving him, guiding him on the right track and wishing him good and not enmity as if treating himself. This should characterize each sect in Lebanon thus leading to national unity among all sects and confessions. His Eminence also considered that the exchanged visits between spiritual leaders and religious Sheikhs that tends to settle pacification efforts and make right, love and tolerance our priority.
Sheikh Hassan added that these reasonable choices accompanying the political rapprochement will certainly contribute in expanding reconciliation endeavors, fortifying and strengthening same thus leading to mutual approach among all citizens and regions that were always known for co-existence, national unity and social approach among them.
Besides, any other mutual rapprochement among political parties in the Lebanese society is a grateful step that consolidates the positive reigning atmospheres in the country.
His Eminence looks forward that the waited government be as a positive breakthrough, paving the road in front of a new political period where all parties regain their confidence and credibility in each other and lay down the basis of a political situation that completely differs from the previous period that was known for the problems and tensions it witnessed.
