His Eminence Sheikh Aql of Mouwahidoun Druze sect, Sheikh Naim Hassan received in Verdun Deputy Ziad EL KADRI who said after the meeting that this visit was to look forward for the coming challenging period and to benefit from His Eminence’s aware and wise vision. EL KADRI then added that Sheikh Hassan insists on strengthening internal unity and on going forward with the national dialogue and the meetings held between different parties, whether among politicians or spiritual Islamic – Christian leaders, in order to transcend the division that reigned among Lebanese during the past four years, and thus moving to a new stage of prosperity and stability.

“I do praise the reconciliation mission and meeting taking place among honorable Sheikhs of Druze and Shiite sects in various Lebanese regions for the benefit of Lebanon. The political conflicts shall stay within their political range; whereas, respecting the Lebanese variety and Civil Peace and Co-existence shall be a priority; therefore, unity shall be reinforced among all Lebanese so that the internal unity will be ever strengthened.”, he also added.

“The latest elections were the key to revive the democratic system in Lebanon, and everyone now is waiting the formation of a new government based on real partnership and not crippling. Therefore it is really important to facilitate the mission in front of the nominated Prime Minister Saad Hariri  and the formation of the government, because the bad social, economic and financial situations reached their peak and shall be handled as soon as possible. And while talking about shares we urge the coming government that the main share would be for citizens, low income employees, economy, job creation, and moving toward a strong capable state.” EL KADRI added.
