His Eminence, Sheikh Aql Of Mouwahidoun Druze Sect, Sheikh Naim Hassan, Called For The Constitution Of A Senate And The Implementation Of Taif Agreement

His Eminence, Sheikh Aql of Mouwahidoun Druze Sect, Sheikh Naim Hassan, emphasized the implementation of Taif Agreement, particularly the clause related to the constitution of a Senate; he also emphasized awareness among the youth, in particular, for the building of a bright future, hopefully wishing the coming elections to be achieved in an atmosphere of democracy far from the speeches of incitement and chaos.

The aforementioned was stated by His Eminence, at the Druze Community House in Verdun, while receiving a delegation of the “Shadow Government” headed by the Coordinator of Government, Saleh Hdaifi who handed His Eminence a copy of the Ministerial Statement and a sample of a petition demanding the cancellation of political sectarianism signed by leaders and officials.
