  His Eminence, Sheikh Al Aql of Mouwahidoun Druze Sect, Sheikh Naim Hassan, met, at the Druze Community Housel in Verdun, the Lebanese Democratic Party Leader Mr. Elias Abou Rizk on top of a delegation of the party leadership. After the meeting, Abou Rizk emphasized the significance of the coming elections date and the role of citizens in taking a decision in regard of establishing a four-year ruling parliamentary senate and a government. He added, “These election are crucial to decide the fate of Lebanon and the course of the government which we have dreamt of as competent, fair and democratic, fortifying the national solidarity and co-existence. We are holding the elections despite the unjust and oppressive electoral law that does not reveal a validity of representation and which we have, and still seek to be based on proportional representation where every person enjoys his electoral real representation.”
He added, “We are standing for the elections battle independently trying to set up an electoral roll of the independent totally supported by the forces and authorities available in the region and in opposition of March 8 electoral roll.”
